[...] Friday night was tacos at Polvo’s. Then, one of the better bars I’ve occasion to grace in my life: Rabbits. This is a small Mexican-style cantina with a brick facade. The bar is a narrow indoor area serving US$2 beers, ice-cold. There is ice literally clinging to the bottle. But all the action happens outside, on the porch. When we were there, a guitarist was plugged in and playing country tunes from Townes van Zandt, who may or may not have been a relation.
