I am Bill Burton and I am running for the Texas Land Commissioner’s Office because, its time for politics as usual to stop. Our Public School Fund is being treated with total disregard. Its time to put our schools and colleges back on the priority list. As Land commissioner I will work to see that the revenue generated from the oil and leases and from the renewable energy resources are not mis-directed. I will be accountable and responsible to the people I serve, “You”.
I will work hard to restore the confidence in the Texas Veterans Land Board, as I work to increase the home improvement loan limits. I will work with our legislatures to locate a funding source for our Coastal Erosion and Respnse Act. I will not wait until election time to show a concern. I have over 27 years of real estate experience and I am not a politican looking for a good place to lay my hat. I am an Appeals Arbitration, A Real Estate Broker/Educator, and I Teach Texas Real Estate Law, Law of Agency and Law of Contracts. We need a commissioner that knows real estate and will listen to the people. Re-Districting will be a great opportunity for all Texans to stand together as a state that’s second to none, because we can and will get it right. I want to be your next Texas Land Commissioner.
