A Sharp-dressed man goes to Europe

As a stylish man, I tend to enjoy vacation because it grants me the opportunity to venture to other lands to scope out fashion abroad. Fashion abroad can lead to exciting new looks to bring back home.

What looks can a man bring home that will merge nicely into his current residence? I usually go for the essentials, such as shoes, watches, and dress shirts. Each of these items are easily found in any department store or boutique.

When I find a nice dress shirt, I test out the fit and quality. Along with these elements, I also consider the color, to see if it will mesh well with dress pants or jeans. I aim for colors such as blue, black, or, for the Spring season, lighter colors. Now, as I mentioned, Spring is upon us, and lighter colors can work at the office, on dates, and other social settings. The modern man can pull off such colors as pink, baby blue, and, my favorite, lime green.

As I continued on with my vacation, I was on the prowl for new dress shoes for work and play. I saw these dark brown shoes that were textured with an out layer that looked tough in a GQ ad. I traveled all around Europe and, on my final day, found them in a German department store. These were the killers I had been looking for, dark brown and tough enough to work with dark jeans, as well as dark slacks.

I was set to return to the USA with a lighter, funnier work attire, accompanied with my dark brown shoes. While I was packing all of my treasures, I realized I had a dead cell phone and no way to tell time. I hadn’t bought a watch in a while, so I thought it would be interesting to buy one abroad. I walked into a boutique and set my eyes on the most amazing piece of clockwork ever–a white leather band and face watch. I had to add it to my attire. After purchasing it, I felt complete and ready to return home.

I ended my vacation with more than I had come with and, since then, have been answering the same question: Where did you get that? Ciao Austin!
