The 2nd Annual Austin Fashion Awards was held at the Long Center for the Performing Arts where participants of Austin Fashion Week were selected in three different categories: People’s Choice Awards (voted on by general public), Critic’s Choice Awards (voted by a panel of 40 local Austinites influential in the fashion community), and Peer Choice Awards: (each official participant of Austin Fashion Week placed a vote for a business or individual in their own category).
BEST DESIGNER (CRITICS’ CHOICE): Dean Fredrick- Jewelry designer who creates timeless custom pieces worn many different ways whether alone, mixed, matched, or stacked. www.deanfredrick.com
BEST DESIGNER (PEOPLE’S CHOICE): Tracy Tenpenny Design- a line of jewelry inspired by the shapes, structures, colors, and engineering that dominate the design world.
