Oprah Winfrey's mom, Vernita Lee, died Thursday at age 83. TMZ confirmed Monday that Lee died on Thanksgiving Day. Winfrey's niece, Alisha Hayes, announced the news on Instagram. Hulu has given a straight-to-series order to a new scripted drama that will explore the formation and career of legendary hip-hop group, the Wu-Tang Clan.
