Miss America aired as the new Miss America 2.0. Sunday's event marked a change for Miss America which dropped the swimsuit portion of its competition in June. Erykah Badu to host 2017 Soul Train Awards

Erykah Badu will host the Soul Train awards for the third consecutive year, BET announced Monday. The cable channel also said Badu, "the godmother of soul," will take on writing and producing duties, in addition to hosting the annual awards show. Rihanna calls out Internet fat-shamers

Rihanna used humor and some serious shade to respond to some body-shaming that recently made its way around the Internet. Selena Quintanilla series in the works at Telemundo

The show is based on the 1997 book "El Secreto de Selena." A TV series about Selena Quintanilla is in the works at Telemundo.
