The National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) and the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) kicked off July with a pre-conference Salsa and Soul mixer at Copa on July 2. Both Austin chapters are gearing up for the 2010 Texas LEAD, the 8th annual professional development conference on leadership, education, and diversity taking place on July 30. Diversifying SXSW
Just last week, it was announced that the Austin History Center will be hosting an exhibit on “The 25 Year History of SXSW” from February to July 2011. South by Southwest (SXSW) has become one of the largest festivals in the United States and generated more than $100 million for the Austin economy this year.
