MBA associations gear up for 2010 Texas LEAD Conference

The National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) and the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) kicked off July with a pre-conference Salsa and Soul mixer at Copa on July 2. Both Austin chapters are gearing up for the 2010 Texas LEAD, the 8th annual professional development conference on leadership, education, and diversity taking place on July 30. Austin Celebrates World Refugee Day

Austin residents are invited to join in the celebration of the United Nations World Refugee Day at the Bob Bullock State History Museum, 1800 N Congress Ave, this Saturday to learn more about the international refugee community in Austin. Learning fair set to make historical book giveaway

When Feria Para Aprender (The Learning Fair) takes place next month, it will not only be the state’s largest Spanish language educational event, but it will set a one-day record in Texas for the most number of educational books given away.
