Florence: Death toll rises, N.C. roads closed as more rain falls
Hurricane Florence has come and gone, but it will take time for the coastal Carolinas to recover from severe flooding and damage that has killed 18. Florence arrived early Friday as a Category 1 storm. Authorities said Monday the death toll climbed to 18. Most died in North Carolina from falling trees and other debris, and two in South Carolina died of carbon monoxide poisoning. Louisiana mayor bans Nike products from city’s recreation programs
The mayor of Kenner, La. this month banned his city's recreation department from making any purchases of Nike products, apparently due to the company's ad campaign featuring former NFL player Colin Kaepernick. Judge: Trump administration must reinstate DACA
A federal judge in Washington, D.C., ruled Friday that a program giving protections to some undocumented immigrants brought to the United States as children must be reinstated. Mexico hits back with $3 billion in tariffs on U.S. products
Retaliating for tariffs imposed by the Trump administration, Mexico hit back Tuesday with fiscal penalties on U.S. exports like pork, steel, cheese and whiskey.
