MBA associations gear up for 2010 Texas LEAD Conference

The National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) and the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) kicked off July with a pre-conference Salsa and Soul mixer at Copa on July 2. Both Austin chapters are gearing up for the 2010 Texas LEAD, the 8th annual professional development conference on leadership, education, and diversity taking place on July 30. 2010 Could be the last NFL Season for some time

$10.5M multi-use indoor sports facility planned for East Austin

Developers plan to bring jobs, an anticipated $2 million dollars in revenue a year, as well as a healthier lifestyle and a safe place to play, to the East Austin community. The Central Texas Sports Alliance (CTSA) plans to start building an indoor/outdoor multi-use sports facility on a large plot of land on Springdale Road, between 51st Street and Manor Road, in a few months.
