East Austin band students play Stubbs with their Music Pro Mentors

CASA recognizes Rep. Dukes for leadership

State Representative Dawnna Dukes presented Huston-Tillotson University President Dr. Larry Earvin a check for $20,000 during the 13th Annual African American Community Heritage Festival. 2012 Clear Your Clutter Day recap

As a result of this year’s Austin Chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) clear your clutter day event and the 445 cars that dropped off items at Bethany United Methodist Church in support of Get Organized Month, several nonprofits received needed items. APD recruiting for new officers

In these challenging economic times, where several employers are making cutbacks and consolidating, the Austin Police Department is currently recruiting and encourages all qualified applicants to apply. Local gallery owner and community activist may face closure

Sultry Sade brings tour to Austin
